Last night I had a dream that war broke out between Japan and China over capitalism. For some reason all my family that lives in Brazil was living in Japan and I was visiting them. It was really scary because it didn't seem like things were ever gonna be the same again and when I woke up I felt pretty rattled and it kind of ruined my whole day. Have you ever had a dream like that? |

was fun. I learned alot but didn't really go out much. I was at INPA (National Institute of Amazonian Research) in a lab that worked with three species of fish. What the lab does is sequence a noncoding segment of the fishes mitochondrial DNA in order to track the relationships between the populations of fish in the different rivers in order to help conservation efforts (how it helps, I'm not really sure, but thats what they do). So I pretty much learned how to extract, amplify, purify, and sequence DNA. It probably doesn't sound too exciting but I liked it alot. Aside from the lab, I went fishing, visited a sweet waterfall, and got to see how prostitutes attract clients. Pics (including staged ones of me looking like a scientist) are under the lj-cut.
PS: If i promised you a postcard, don't worry about it, Brazilian mail is really slow and for some reason uses American stamps.

And uh, aside from that, OotP was alright but could've been alot better. Luna Lovegood is a hottie. Bellatrix kills @#^%*& and I got a

so i was thinking earlier today that when i grow up and have my own house that i want all my furniture to have a face on it. by like, taping on eyes and mouths made out of construction paper. i think it'd be nice because it would be as if everything had a personality and i'd rather have an angry fridge than one that shows no emotion at all. i think maybe i'll try to start doing it with things in my house but i'm not so sure my parents think the idea is as awesome as i do.
and holy crap, how cool would i be if my house had a face. mega win |

If theres anything I like more than epic battles, its epic battles with robots involved. And you wouldn't be wrong in thinking that these are the best kinds of battles, but the point remains.
